Our friends the Cowboys fans are very fond of statistics, especially when comparing Carson Wentz to Dak Prescott.

But have they looked at the statistics on their mounting RB controversy?

The stats don't lie. Dak Prescott has a significantly higher yards per carry average (5.1) than Zeke Elliott (4.5)!

Surely, he must be a better running back, as these facts are incontrovertible.

Dak is also a hard-nosed runner around the end zone, he just hasn't had the volume yet, but when he gets it, watch out Emmitt Smith.

And my disdain for Elliott the person is somewhat offset by Elliott the RB.

But I'd trade Elliott in a nanosecond if I felt I could get something.

Pollard looks like a nice complimentary back but I think he lacks Dak’s durability. We have all seen how durable Dak is. Maybe move Zeke to third string? The stats do make a case for it.
