Who has had a better season? CJ Beathard or Jake Rudock?

Last season, Jake Rudock was Iowa's QB with CJ Beathard on the sideline. Season ends and KF names Beathard the starter. Rudock graduates and heads to Michigan.

CJ Beathard was huge in the beginning of the season, but since he injured his groin muscle and hip, he has been immobile but had done not-as-good throwing. He leads the Hawkeyes to the program's first 11-0 start.

Jake Rudock was a roller coaster in the first month of the season but the past few weeks, he has been very strong. He even tied the program's record with six touchdown passes. However, the loss against Utah could be put on his shoulders. Rudock has the better stats.

Before this season, he had long blond hair and known as the deep passer. Half of his career at Iowa, I didn't know his name. I called him Sunshine (like Remember the Titans)

Ironic that a guy who cheers for a team with no QB and a guy who cheers for a team being QBed by a FCS scrub haven't heard of 2 guys who are both better than their guys... that's why I don't take pretty much anyone seriously on here when they give their "expert" opinions lol

To answer the question at hand I give CJ a slight edge. Jake has turned it over too much but he has played very well for most of the year. Iowa has a vastly superior running game which helps CJ but also hurts his stats as Iowa leads all P5 teams with 33 rush TDS. All in all its close as you would expect but CJ wins...again. lol
