I am not sure it is fair because it sounds like it was a dispute between a black GM and black coach, but Flores getting fired has a lot of black players upset and seeing double standards here, based on what I am seeing on social media.

Miami by many accounts should be a top team in the NFL year in and year out. All the players want to be in South Beach, there is no state income tax--if they could draft reasonably well, and hire competent coaches, they would be a powerhouse organization.

I'm not sure I would trust anything in social media these days. Especially the race issue where it has become such a talking point that people are blind to everything else. Not saying racial inequality isn't real here either because it very much is but the noise surrounding it is doing more harm than good in a sense because there are too many false claims just to garner attention and not address facts.
Having said that, it may play a factor in this to some degree but I think there is more to this. It was stupid to fire Flores imo but the Dolphins do what they do.
As for Judge, I think that is completely different. The Mara's love this guy for whatever reason amd endorsed him earlier this season. I'm not surprised he still has his job but they do need to get a top notch and strong GM in place to fix that roster. A lot of holes to fill and they need to find a franchise QB before they can turn things around.

Now there were rumors that he wanted some say in who the new GM is. Sorry Joe, you aren't Belichick and if you'd have just shut your yapper and gone home, you might have been able to salvage one more year.

I have never seen a coach be so entitled and arrogant while accomplishing nothing.
