I'm not down on the Sox. I remember many a season where I hoped the Sox would get to .500 by July and have a chance to compete in the 2nd half of the season. These Sox are sputtering, but not that bad. Go Sox! Last year the Sox took off after the Yanks embarrassed themselves in an early season series.
They lost that game yesterday. But the way they scored and fought back from that deficit was actually a positive. IMO. They need to get at least one of these today, though.

I inadvertently made him leave because the main season thread had a fake sponsor, Beggar’s Pizza, which is a joke about how the team serves this brand at the park and how it’s ironic in Chicago that underwhelming pizza is sold at games. Apparently this joke, even pointing it out to him as a joke, made him leave. I must say though, it was pretty lol he thought it was a legit sponsor on a sports board until I clarified.
Half the forum had him on ignore. To bad too - because jf he could laugh at himself a little he had some interesting takes.
