White shirts with blue pants

This was what the team decided to go with. Not my favorite, I prefer the all blues, but at least they didn't go with white pants too.

Yeah, white with white needs to be solely an AFC move.

The last time Seattle went with the white over blue combo came in a 23-0 win over the Giants in Week 15. That game was played at MetLife Stadium, the same stadium that will be hosting Super Bowl XLVIII.
The Seahawks also won in the white over blue combination in Week 10 when they beat the Falcons in Atlanta 33-10. That's two games wearing white over blue for Seattle and two 23-point wins.
Seattle has lost wearing the white over blue combo before. In Week 8 of 2012, the Lions beat the Seahawks 28-24 in Detroit.

Lots of people wondered why they didn't go with the Wolf Grays for this one since the Hawks are undefeated in those unis, but I read that alternate unis can't be worn for the Super Bowl.

Home team colors alternate in the Super Bowl every year, even and odd years, AFC, NFC.

To be more accurate, the home team has choice of what color they want to wear and in SB XL, the Steelers (who were the home team) chose to wear white shirts, which allowed Seattle to wear all blueberry.

I honestly think wearing white might help if there is any snow fall it could just dim a view of a Seahawks defender enough that if Peyton is under heavy pressure to allow a pass to be defended or even picked.

Russell is going to know where his guys are running their routes so unless a play breaks down so I see it effecting him less in that manner.

I'm fine with the white and blues. We always look good wherever we go. Best uni's in the game.
