I don't see anyone beating OSU.

Bama looks tough but their QB, is questionable

Clemson was my front runner but does not look like the same team as last year

Washington, is the dark horse, they looked great last weekend. Now let's see some more

So Ohio St. vs Bama with the Buckeyes winning. I could see that.

Bama looks tough but their QB, is questionable

Why is our QB questionable?

63.8% complete, 8.7 yards per attempt.

9 TD's and only 2 INT's, while rushing for another 5 TDs - and the INT he threw this weekend was a ball that was hit as he was throwing and floated up in the air.

He's only been sacked 5 times in 6 games.

I'm not saying he should be the front-runner for the Heisman or anything, but I feel like this is the best we've been at QB since the AJ era.

I was reading today that Alabama currently leads the nation in big plays. 17 plays have gone for 40+ yards and 9 plays have gone for 50+.

I'd imagine that's who the majority have in the championship game as of right now. I'd bet more people would pick Bama to win it all though.

Difficult to know if Washington is legit yet. The other three clearly are.

Definitely a good team, but been bad for so long that I think something huge needs to happen to be able to call them elite.

Oregon was definitely a good start.

Season fatigue and injury are too much of the story that time of year to really know now. I mean you could guess based on play today just for fun, but no way all 4 stay exactly the same into those games. Hell couple of years ago OSU was on their 3rd string QB in the NCG

We get Bama in a stadium located in tSEC country. A three hour drive from Tuscaloosa. Oh goodie............ Thank you football gods....that sounds very neutral.
You'd think they would've made the Fiesta Bowl one of the semi final sites.

Bama and Ohio St. are like two Goliaths.

We'll see. I'll never discount Chris Peterson. And Ohio State has never won a game against a team from the Palmetto State, and I don't see the current one beating Clemson if they play like they have the past two games. I'm excited to see Washington play against a top team, though I do think we see a rematch of last year's championship.

And Oregon was missing 6 or 7 starters. It's a long season.

What is an Oregon fan doing talking in a thread about teams going to the playoffs this year. :noidea:

You had injuries. So? That's not why you had 70 hung on you. The defense entirely quit in that game. Players are calling each other out in the media. You have issues in the locker room and problems all over that roster. At best adding in every single player missing MIGHT have made that more like 55-21. You were not going to win that game. And that was crystal clear to anyone with two eyes.
