Which Catcher Should I get?

Well right now my catcher is Wilin Rosario and the Rockies are potentially making him a first-baseman... So naturally I need to find a new one.

Right now my 1st baseman are Goldschmidt and Freeman (Steve Pearce as well, but I'll be using in of) so I don't need another one. Yet if he is still "listed" as a catcher but plays first could I still use him as a catcher?

Why do you need to replace him?? Must a player start at a position to be considered that position??

If the league still lists him as a catcher keep him. If not I would go with Montero of those listed.

Don't leagues change eligibility quickly when they realize he technically isn't a catcher anymore?

Most leagues base their eligibility on the previous year... Don't know how this league work

So far can't see anything to say otherwise... So I guess i will have to wait and see.

Castro I guess. I heard on Fan Graphs that Houston is gonna have Gattis at 1b and DH and they are sending Singleton to the minors early on.

He's not gonna lose his C eligibility. If uou want another C, fine, but know you don't have to.

I'd take a peak at how much PT McKenry is gonna get in Colorado...could be a sleeper.

Yeah I guess I can stay put right now since the season hasn't even started yet so no rush to change that position. Worse comes to worse there will always be a catcher available.

I was stupidly thinking that since he most likely wouldn't be a catcher this year I would have to actually pick up a catcher, but as people have already mentioned if he is listed as "C" in my league then I will be fine, or at least should be
