What's the deal with Jordan Happle?

He was being projected as a starting Safety in August yet I just checked the player participation list for Boise State for this season and he's played in exactly ZERO games so far this season. Is he injured or what?

I came across an article in the Idaho Statesman (I went looking) which mentioned the following about Happle and Keeghan Freeborn. And according to this article, dated August 26, 2019, both were not expected to be out for the entire season:

The relevant part of this article is:

"In injury news, Harsin said redshirt freshman nose tackle Keeghan Freeborn — who went down in Saturday’s Fall Fan Fest — and junior safety Jordan Happle are “a little banged up,” but both are expected to return this season."
