What would Wash do?

So, let's say tonight's game gets rained out and is pushed to tomorrow. Let's say we don't win that game and we have to play a game 7 on Friday. Just about everyone in the rotation would be available to start that game. Who would Wash put on the mound? You can be damn sure Carp would be pitching for the them (assuming he didn't pitch in game 6). Normally I would say CJ would get the ball, but his post-season performance has been anything but normal.

There is no doubt in my mind he would pitch CJ. Wash is a very scripted manager, which drives me crazy. He does no wavier from the book when it comes to his pitching decisions.

My wish would be Holland.

Doubt he pitches CJ on 4 days rest. I know it is the last game of the season, but it is tough throwing a guy out, in cold weather, in the stress, on short rest.

My guess is he goes to Holland, though I'm putting my money on the Cobra taking care of business. The guys have seen Garcia now. Their kryptonite is usually pitchers they haven't seen.

I don't like this. I don't understand why you wouldn't go with Holland since he will have a full 4 days of rest, normal rest. After what holland did Monday night I think he deserves the ball in game 7.

Hopefully Colby gets it done tonight and we don't have to worry about the game 7 starter.

You guys aren't putting much faith in Harrison. Outside of his last start where he had to get 6 outs in that one inning the guy has been pretty darn solid.

As solid as Harrison has been, Holland was ouright dominant in his last game, I'd start Holland and have Harrison ready to go just like as if he was starting... That way if Holland struggles you have Harrison ready to go if need be

That's a good way to screw with Harrison's head. You're right Holland was dominant last game. And we have seen this all year long. Could he come back out and look like the ace he was in game 5? Absolutely. Will he come back and implode? POssibly. The guy hasn't been thinking about pitching since his big start. Harrison is just as capable when he has someone with two brain cells to rub together behind the plate.
