Yeah. I'd agree. My first guess was Duvernay for Texas. But being that a lot of that his production ultimately depends on Buechele (depending on whether or not he gets the nod) he's probably the biggest factor overall.

The biggest maybe at DT. Texas is real thing and will depend on true freshmen to play meaningful time. If 1 steps up immediately it will make a huge difference defensively.

I like the Duvernay call. Texas has some serious size outside. If Duvernay can play it will be very hard for teams to bring a safety up in the box. Speed in the slot is perhaps the biggest reason for Baylor's offensive success.

Was a joke. Bama fans don't have to worry too much about a recruit filling holes. Those anxieties are for the middle and lower class

I laughed.

For A&M it's Tyrel Dodson linebacker. Many people see Dodson as an immediate impact player for the linebacking core of John Chavis’ defense. Dodson should see the field early and often and even compete for a starting job for the Aggies. He has speed and field vision which gives him an edge in the SEC.Dodson has great hands which allows him to ballhawk in coverage. At 6’2″, 235 pounds, Dodson has physical tools to stop the run, but the speed and vision to rush the passer.

It wouldn't surprise me to see Devwah Whaley rush for 1,000 yards this year

Our team lost very little to grad and draft this year. Most of our freshman will have the benefit of getting a year to develop and not called upon to play much.

But we did lose some depth at LB so I think OLBs Camilo Eifler and Brandon Wellington may at least get some playing time out there this fall.

Depth at the Dline is really solid right now, but WDE Levi Onwuzurike is an absolute beast at 6-3 and already 260. I could see him out there this fall as well.

Offense - Alex Max, WR is the real deal; he has been at OSU since January, through winter conditioning and spring ball.

Defense - Nick Bosa - all reports are that his knee is fine and he will see time early, plus . . .

Having been a pipeline for the NFL draft last year, there are plenty of opportunities for new kids to make a splash.

Austin Mack is the WR, and he is going to be a stud. I've been following him since last year and had little doubt he'd be an early impact guy. Can't wait to see him settle in. Barrett is going to be pleased with his weapons this year, no question.

You know what blows. I have too many to pick frome again. That is never a good sign. I am going with Buechele, because he will be the QB. I could go WR Johnson or Duvernay. Camp hasn't started, but I wouldn't be shocked if a defensive player hit the radar. I am hoping this is the last year there are 4-6 options.

Texas could have some imposing, big WR's this year. Johnson at 6'5, Humphrey at 6'4 (if they put him at WR), Burt at 6'3, Joe at 6'3 and Leonard at 6'4.....

I agree. Someone has to run and go pick up Bielema's take out order everday after practice.

I keed. I keed. I wouldn't be surprised either. Dude was our #1 rb target all last year. Looks like a good player.

If he doesn't redshirt, Tavien Feaster RB. He would be 3rd or 4th string at best, behind Wayne Gallman, Adam Choice, and Tyshon Dye. Other than that, I don't see any other true freshman getting significant playing time.

Lamar Jackson but he is a Safety which is the best part for Nebraska so he might not see the field.

My guess - Derrion Grim

If Demornay Pierson EL is still hurt and unable to return punts, Derrion Grim is the man.

If he can return punts like he did in high school, he just might see the field.

Nebraska Bound #GBR

He had a pretty good final year of high school

96 receptions
1,928 yards
avg yard per catch = 20.1 yards
34 TDs
1 Punt return for a TD
2 Kickoff returns for a TD

Total TDs = 37 in a ten game season
Both are good bets, although they have talked about wanting to put Jackson in at boundary corner. I don't see any way he doesn't see the field...he's a special player the likes of which we haven't seen in a while. Freak athlete. So long as he doesn't show up and be completely overwhelmed, he'll make a big impact. Even if he sticks at safety, he can get in on the rotation.
