Well then no one could argue them being 3 of the 4 playoff teams. An undefeated Baylor, FSU of PAC team could sneak into the last spot if the SEC East champ has more than3 loses is the good news here.

nah. The SEC will receive the benefit of the doubt. I think at this point in college football they deserve it too. At least until they lose a couple of games in the playoff to teams from other conferences.

If we wind up with 4 P5 conference champs with 2 losses, and the SEC champ has 3, I'm willing to bet they get in over one of those other conference champs.

What will be disheartening is if espin gets their way and has their wet dream realized. That being at least 3 SEC teams in.

Not seeing that at all. The pac might have more good teams, but I think we were exposed a bit last week, in that there may not be any elite teams in the pac this year. We might get shut out of the playoff but win every bowl game the conference is invited to. I see this as a real possibility.

The PAC hasn't earned the benefit of the doubt like the SEC has.

When it's all said and done I'm pretty sure it's going to end up the opposite of what you are foreseeing at this point.

Disagree. If the SEC places three teams in the playoff, the entire system will have to be called into question. Basically, it would mean that regular season losses don't really matter if enough people think you look good on paper. And in the meantime, all the teams with better records that are left out will have legitimate arguments that the system is grotesquely flawed.
