What games do you plan on watching opening weekend?

Non Saturday games are kind of obvious.

On Saturday I'll watch Alabama vs USC, and then whatever else seems like the best game at the time. I'm pretty sure I'll be tuning into the LSU vs Wisconsin game.

Friday, September 2nd:
Kansas State @ Stanford - 9:00(FS1) - Main watching game - I'll actually be driving down to the beach this night. Should get in around 9:30 or so. I'll get the car unloaded, get up to the condo, crack a beer and watch it.

Will flip back and forth between:

Colorado vs. Colorado State(Denver) - 8:00(ESPN)
Toledo @ Arkansas State - 9:00(ESPNU)

Saturday, September 3rd:

Oklahoma vs. Houston - 12:00(ABC) - Main watching game
LSU vs. Wisconsin(Green Bay) - 3:30(ABC) - Main watching game

Raphie, that Mizzou/Neer game could be a boost or a disaster for both teams. Not the sexiest of matchups in opening week but it could be an early factor in both teams seasons albeit for different reasons. What do you think about it?

The wedding is on Saturday at 4 PM Georgia plays North Carolina in Atlanta at 4:30 PM. Looks like my Saturday football is all fricked up.

I will be the guy at the wedding looking at my phone for scores, and I won't care what people think. I only know the family of four, the rest of them will all be strangers.

I might be able to catch some Nebraska Fresno State if the SEC/ACC gets the BTN.

Oh, and I will bring some Nebraska gear for sure.

When my wife and I got engaged she wanted to schedule our wedding on October 3rd last year, same day as Notre Dame vs. Clemson. I was like, that's fine, but just know I'll be spending most of the evening in the hotel bar. We ended up getting married on June 6th last year.

Yup, you've got to have these conversations early on in the relationship. That way you can move on with no hard feelings, lol.

My daughter got married last year...she is an FSU alumn...despite that decision, she was smart enough to get married on an FSU/Alabama open date. Lots of Auburn peeps on her Mom's side, but they were playing LA Tech that weekend, so all was good. You don't want your wedding to be remembered by people negatively, you got to plan ahead, especially in the South.

Nervous man, their dline seems like they are legit. I could def see us losing. I think we'll pull it out in the end but def won't be a blowout.

I know when I got married, it was like: late fall is the best time in Texas, and in Austin. It's like San Diego weather...but I nixed it.

Summer is WAY TOO HOT, everybody be sweating. Hell, it's hot through September anyway, just like August. So I picked the Ides of March: Not hot, not cold, but sometimes windy as hell.
