Based on what the committee would consider as "S" curve, or overall rank? So for example the 1 seeds would be Baylor, Villanova, Gonzaga, and Kansas in that order, the 2 seeds would be Florida State, Butler, Notre Dame and UNC in that order and then so on and so forth.

1. Baylor
2. Villanova
3. Gonzaga
4. Kansas
5. Florida State
6. Butler
7. Notre Dame
8. North Carolina
9. Louisville
10. Wisconsin
11. Creighton
12. Arizona
13. Kentucky
14. UCLA
15. Virginia
16. Cincinnati
17. Maryland
18. Oregon
19. Duke
20. Florida
21. UNC-Wilmington
22. Virginia Tech
23. Saint Mary's
24. South Carolina
25. Purdue
26. Northwestern
27. West Virginia
28. Xavier
29. Kansas State
30. USC
31. Minnesota
32. SMU
33. Arkansas
34. TCU
35. Middle Tennessee State
36. Iowa State
37. Wake Forest
38. Marquette
39. Dayton
40. Akron
41. Seton Hall
42. Valparaiso
43. Wichita State
44. Texas Tech
45. Indiana
46. Illinois State
47. Oklahoma State
48. Michigan State
49. Miami
50. Pittsburgh

I only ask because in terms of seeding an actual bracket, I think this is the best one that I've seen.

I'm just curious as to your thoughts? With all the talk about how the committee is going to be implementing or introducing more analytics and metrics into the field, this is the best that I've seen. Much better than KenPom, BPI, and Sagarin IMO.

Looks decent, I think the PAC12 is rated a bit too low and the B1G is rated a bit too high, but I think the committee will have that same problem assuming one team does not separate itself in both those leagues.

I think this is pretty damn accurate.

In terms of where I think teams are talent wise I'd move a few around. But I see nothing outrageous.

If Wake finishes the season at #37, it would be great. Not just because I'm a Wake fan, but because the hipster dbags on OGboards would have to admit that they were wrong about Manning.

Doubtful that Wake finishes in that range though, just because the past few years has made an extremely cynical fan.

The next 4 games are very winnable IMO for Wake. A 4-0 stretch would be huge.

I don't feel like Wisconsin has earned a top ten spot. This has them one spot in front of a team that beat them easily on the road and 2 spots behind that destroyed them in a neutral court then 15 spots in front of a team that beat them easily on the road. I think Wisconsin should be top 20 at best right now. Offensively, they're limited to 6 players and after that it's a bunch of below avg to terrible offensive players. We don't have the offensive depth and the FT shooting to be in the top ten.

Wisconsin is a hard team to get a read on.

There's no shame in losing to UNC and Creighton. UNC might win the ACC and Creighton was a potential Final 4 team before Watson's injury.

Their RPI is down because a lot of the teams they played NC were supposed to be decent, but instead are horrible ... G'town, Syracuse, Oklahoma.

If they finish with 2 or 3 losses in the B1G, they will be a tough team to seed.

Not bad, IMO Baylor doesn't belong in top 5, they lost to your 27th rated team by 20 points

I agree. Baylor is more of a 3 seed IMO. But, looking at some of the ones in that range, maybe I'm splitting hairs.

That's just one loss though. They have also beaten 8 teams in the top 50 on this list with half of them coming on the road/neutral court. My guess is that 8 would be the most out of any team. Maybe FSU has more/or the same.

Yeah, I certainly don't think Baylor is the most talented team in the country or anything, but it's pretty clear, at worst they have a top 3 resume. IMO at this point they do have the #1 resume.

Talent wise you're right.

But resume right now they deserve to be where they are
