What do you expect from your fav team this year?

I'll start. I expect this to be a big-time homer thread…. I won't be one.


Dbacks have a solid offense with Goldy, Pollock, Trumbo, Yasmany Tomas, Hill, Enciarte, etc. but their rotation is still god-awful so I don't expect them to go anywhere this year.

75 wins at best. At least we have the first pick… woo!

Would just like to see a team without record setting DL stints and starting pitchers used.

Slight improvement from JV. Maybe an ERA under 4. A bullpen that isn't the worst in baseball, but still isn't good. Slight struggles against righties. Major troubles if Miggy and VMart miss significant time.

Another AL Central Title. But a good fight from Cleveland.

88-74, postseason appearance. Offense should be much improved and among the best in the majors. Rotation is still pretty iffy, though I like the ground ball approach they've gone with. Red Sox defense should be quite good, hopefully that'll mask their starting pitching.

If the Pads stay healthy and the pitching stays solid as many think it may, I see us with 89-95 wins. My big concern is the defense in both the outfield and infield, so the offensive firepower we added during the offseason will have to make up for some of the defensive issues. I think we get a WC spot, but winning the division is going to be very, very tough.
