Growing up I didn't know much about Iowa football or their athletics in general. I was an elite swimmer n' we would occasionally go to Des Moines for meets. Always liked it there. A lot bigger and nicer than I imagined it would be. Kind of like it is for people who come to Lincoln.

I do hate seeing that stupid chart in the middle though regarding our record against other B10 opponents, considering we had a 19 year consecutive losing record from 1960 to 1980...well it ain't pretty

We have a weekly pickem on the Nebraska board that we will be starting up here in a couple weeks with around 20 games a week and I am sure you can join as it is open to anyone.

I did this for a bit the first couple of years. Great variety of games. Trolling is at a minimum. It was good times back when we had rep.

Yea, it is pretty fun. I liked better when we had rep but now we just have it that the best record for week gets to pick an avy for a week for person with the worst record.

NC State is not a winning program really, some of those are really crimson as well, but crimson is a derivative of red so there it is...Iowa is not a perennial loser, our record is pretty good if you go from the 80's on...actually the Nebraska team was called the Hawkeyes in its early days, but let Iowa have it since it seemed to fit more and you all like to shuck corn more than we did.
