Hey man, gonna move this to the NBA board, prolly get more action over there. @trojanfan12 can merge it if there's already one on-topic.

And it was a dumb decision. Curious how he really plays this year. If he tries to be the lead on offense it will go bad

If you ever wondered if it would be worth it for Ricky Rubio to give up 25% of his playmaking to be able to finish in the paint...the answer is hell no. And you don't pay it 84 million either.

Shroeders choice shows that building a consistent winner requires both luck and savvy, turning that contract down was the greatest assist he made for the team.

It'll be interesting. Hopefully he'll be a little more humble. He came to the Lakers virtually demanding to be a starter and proceeds to become a problem in the locker room, doesn't really play to expectations and turns down an offer for about $3-5 million more per year than he's worth.

Maybe that's humbled him? If it has, it could be good for the C's.

I guess he is a grown man and he made his decision. If you aren’t happy money doesn’t matter. Most get paid in the nba, I bet he will be alright.

They have a few mid career guards now who need to show up if they want a future. Dunn is another

We wanted more money, the only reason he turned down the initial offer. As a result, the Lakers have Westbrook instead of Schroder and Hield.
