NEED one to avoid catastrophe ( Angels would be virtually tied with us if we got swept and winner of Astros or Twins would gain on us each time since they're playing each other) I'm hoping for 2 and won't mention the word that involves a broom because I'm superstitious. Adrian has been too antsy a lot lately. The other night against SD in his AB late in the game with RISP, he was swinging wildly at some really bad pitches. He's always been such a good judge of pitches, so I'm not sure what has gotten into him.

The other thing I've noticed is that he seems to be over-swinging, trying too hard to kill the ball. Old Beltre swung hard but at most would drop to one knee. This Beltre is swinging himself off-balance and completely out of his stance. It's like he's pressing too hard.
