So why did the ESPN boards close anyway?
It was all about the money. The day the boards shut down I got a mailer for an Insider subscription. Now that they couldn't ram it down my throat on the message boards they're now sending junk mail.
I'm wondering if the boards will be back once they see their internet traffic plummet.
This site was smart enough to create the Lounge, which basically herds all the political and off topic stuff to one board that can be ignored. The ignored list option is great too.
