We've seen backups perform after bad injuries. Can he sustain that and get that team going the rest of the season? Doubt it.
He made up for his fumble, which setup a TD for NY and the lead

I actually think Dallas has the best Backup QB situation in the NFL. Dalton won't win playoff games, but he will play his heart out and probably win some games. MOST teams can't count on that.Dalton isn't your usual backup. I'd rather have Dak, but Dalton should be fine. Now if Dallas can find some defense.
Dak isn't a regular QB. His legs cost him his ankle, but wins them quite a few games. He adds a dimension teams have to account for and often struggle with. And his passing is above average. Dalton is a solid backup, but he's no Dak.Dalton isn't your usual backup. I'd rather have Dak, but Dalton should be fine. Now if Dallas can find some defense.
You and @Ojb81 need to have a gif contest, you guys are on point
Is he playing defense too?Dalton is going to lead Dallas to a Super Bowl lol
Not if he's already a heavily tat'd dude. Is he?Okay. You don’t think it’ll be weird once he’s on a different team?
Likely a Jay Gruden brain fart, lolWTF happened in Jacksonville? What the hell was that on 4th and 1?!
Yep... Hometowning no longer applies outside of the 4-7pt window.@FaCe-LeE-uS its a good thing the Steelers won by more than 4-7, or all that homecoming woulda been called out
Nope. It falls into the we are just better category.Yep... Hometowning no longer applies outside of the 4-7pt window.
You love to see it.
Mahomes doesn't come across like a total douche like so many top athletes. It's hard to root against guys that appear to be doing things the right way.
