I don't really care what a bunch of upset Rams fans say right after a tough loss, the fact is we lost by 3 on the road with a desperate for a win AFC playoff team and could have won it without some bad calls by the zebras...
I'm not worried nor have I given up yet. LOL yet lol

Had the Rams moneyline because I wasn't expecting Burrow to play and they still almost won....

Echo chamber in full effect here. Sure, McVay screwed the pooch by ignoring the run and basically hanging Stafford out to dry under constant pass rush, but he's not going anywhere. Defense leaned into the bend-don't-break mode re: Chase and for the most part that worked, minimizing the damage. The extra turnover ends up being the difference, with that sidearm throw being a horrible decision that Stafford should have thrown into the turf. Noteboom leaving the game temporarily ends up hurting more than it should, as Anchrum immediately kills the drive with a 15 yard facemask penalty. Rams also lost a TD to a timely time out by the Bengals and had to settle for 3. A few other passes from Stafford just missed the mark on other drives, leading to kicks.

Certainly not a great effort overall, but the game was still in reach. I think the Rams could've attacked on defense more, really needed to test Burrow's mobility more, but the defense was good enough to win this game. McVay needs to be better with his game balance, and he did revert to bad McVay in this game too often.

Football is not astro physics, you run the fucking ball, game plan against that teams weakness, and take advantage of those opportunities. But what does this idiot do script nothing but pass plans when you have a QB who is starting to stink it up on the field. No excuse.

All you have to do is look at the 1st and goal play from the 2.

Conventional wisdom says you run it 3-4 times, QB sneak, etc. again, they were playing one of the worst run defenses in the league.

But, what does McVay call on 1st and goal from the 2? A pass play that ends up in a sack.

That loss is all on McVay, plain and simple. He refused to run the ball against a poor run defense, he refused to get his backup LT help when he was getting consistently beat my Hendrickson, he kept running screen plays to Williams when they just weren’t working, and his game plan overall was garbage from start to finish.
