Beating a team doesn't mean you're a better overall team than them.

So the Colts were better than the Broncos last year? That is logic of a 10 year old who knows nothing about football.

Putting any stock in that late Monday night game to open the season is a waste. Take a look at the winners of that game the last few years and it seems they all did very bad the rest of the season...

It had more to do with the fact SF was at home, where they have actually played good defense.
