Offenses have come alive in Bama/Texas, it’s 27-24 Horns now. I’m not really impressed with Milroe, and Bama’s O-Line isn’t good, but the Texas D isn’t great either.

Bama’s pass defense is terrible - Ewers is picking them apart. This is the least impressive I can recall a Saban coached Bama team looking in a long time.

Bama was just unimpressive all around - and this looks like the weakest Bama team in a long time.

Ewers had a great performance, the Horns have a very strong offense, and this is the most confident I’ve felt about the Horns in a while.

but the Texas D isn’t great either.

They played about as good as you can expect against Bama in Tuscaloosa.
It was not some sort of shutout, but that is just the nature of college football. Good Defense is judged diffrently in college these days.

Texas D has 6 sacks (Bama had allowed 25 total in the last 2 years) and 2 takeaways..
.probably should have had 7-8 sacks that the QB miraculously escaped.
They completely shut down the Bama running game.

The media will focus on the Texas offense, but it was the big plays of the Texas defense which was the difrence in my opinion.
