well, on paper Pittsburgh really should have an easy time with the Jets...

...meaning Tomlin and Sphincter will do their very best to make it a blood pressure raiser for me :rolleyes2:

I have this terrible feeling we are about to see one of those slow starting games where they play from behind for an entire half... It's going to be fun

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports Devlin Hodges will be on a short leash against the Jets in Week 16.
Coach Mike Tomlin reluctantly kept Hodges in his starting role despite the rookie imploding to the tune of four interceptions in last week's loss to Buffalo. However, Pelissero reports Mason Rudolph was "heavily involved" in game-planning and also saw increased practice participation throughout the week, preparing him in case of another Hodges meltdown. It goes without saying that Hodges should be nowhere near fantasy lineups this week. Even in a relatively favorable spot against the Jets, Pittsburgh's offense simply carries too much risk

I'm going to vomit on myself if Rudolph gets put into the game.

oh no doubt...the infamous unprepared to play against a lesser opponent Tomlin team.

so a rookie QB (an undrafted one at that) had a bad game against one of the better defenses in the league and should now be on a short leash?

fuckin' Tomlin :L

shit I'm not even sure what that's supposed to mean, but it made me laugh :D
I think it's something Madden used to say. If a team couldn't decide between two QB's, it meant neither of them was a clear #1, and then you're in trouble

Right? Proves that Mason is one of "Tomlin's Guys". We got dragged through 4-5 bad games with Mason at the helm.

ah, gotcha. well that does makes sense in that context. However, I'd have to disagree with Tomlin (as I do on most everything he does). While I certainly don't think the Duck is the second coming of Brady or anything, he's definitely better than that bitch Rudolph.

Hmmm... Watch the Giants lose, or watch the Jets lose??

Why couldn't they schedule these games at different times???

Does it really matter ? Does anyone outside of NY watch these teams? Actually does anyone in NY watch them still ?
