I've got it! someone needs to hurt LT3...before the Duke game, he had a strained abdominal, ankle (right?) and who knows what else...the week off gave him time to heal up, and we saw what happened with duke...he must play hurt for the rest of the year:D

here's a (not-so) fun fact...VT's 9 missed FG's this year are more than any other 2 ACC team's misses combined :lm:

Beamer obviously never watched "The Apprentice".

Hint: "You're Fired!"

There is no excuse in the world for not having a backup plan for Journell.

... and I'm sure I don't need to provide a rationale, but if the reality is that every game is dependent on the defense to keep it close, isn't the ability to kick field goals one of the more critical aspects of the offense?

When someone is slumping, it seems like it would be worth having a credible and consistent back up.

I had to put this game on Mute. The constant "Logan as pro" talk is way too over the top. If you take a drink every time they mention his NFL potential, you'll have alcohol poisoning by halftime. Just STFU already and call the damn game.

Did you know he is 6'6" 260 pounds and was recruited to play tight end?

Tied up 7-7 as our offense finally put together a scoring drive. I'm not digging Loeffler's playcalling so far though. Too much read oriented runs. Thomas, much like last week, seems to be making some bad reads on them. And I know we got a TD out of it but I hate those calls at the goal line. For whatever reason, the handoff takes way too long when we run it. Got stuffed once and almost a second time because defenders were already back there by the time the handoff was completed. Just line up and go smashmouth with Edmunds into the pile. I'm just confused as to what Loeffler's gameplan is right now. LT struggled mightily last week and instead of calling plays to ease his burden, it seems so far we're giving him even more responsibility.

Do my eyes deceive me? Journell made a 56 harder?

Pigs are flying. It's a cold day in hell. Israel and Palestine made peace. Cats and Dogs are living together in blissful harmony. Cody Journell made a 56 yard FG.

What a way to cap off a craptacular drive.
