The Doobster is pleased with this victory. Over the past week we've seen our beloved Pens get shutout against the Avalanche & then meltdown against the Islanders & Maple Leafs. Even our victory against the Hurricanes wasn't at all satisfying seeing as in how they had a 3rd string goalie in net. Beating the Bruins on the other hand was very important. 3 goals scored was more than we scored against them in the 4 playoff games combined. Finally a win we can be proud of. The Doobster is relieved.

lol, I just saw that Dupuis pulled out two teeth on the bench. I never really think about it because I just don't care for other sports much, but you don't see the same amount of heart in baseball and football as you do in hockey.

Still buzzing about the game last night! Was great to see Fleury show patience in net and not just chasing everything that comes close to him. Either the new goalie coach, or Fleury himself, have done a nice job of quieting his movement down, and it's been noticeable on most nights, but was particularly noticeable in this one.

Enjoy that championship, Boston. At least you knocked out the team that cut short Pittsburgh's magical baseball season.

I can't blame Boston sports fans being more into the World Series than the Bruins game last night, but it was a great game, everyone on both teams played exceptional hockey up & down the roster.
