Nah you admitted you did not see that cheap shit hit from Scott and yet claim it cant be worse then Lucic hitting Miller.

I commented that you should see the hit before you make that assumption. You get butthurt and cry and so forth and so on.

So a hit to the head that was intentional is not the same as a hit to the head that was intentional. :noidea:

Did Ericksson lay on the ice for a few minutes and miss some games with a concussion?

Anyways...

Congrats to the Bruins and their fans on the win, and I hope Erikkson is going to be ok.

Bad hit by Scott.

Not to make this about the victim but how does Eriksson let Scott, who moves about as fast as the Greenland ice sheet, get close to him. Hard to believe.

Dummy play by Scott nonetheless. He will get, wait for it, 5 games for that.

That's why I was asking earlier, because Rob Ray said that Erickkson was partly at fault for not keeping his head up and being aware of his surroundings on that play. :noidea:

To be fair the hit was pretty late. Not much reason for Eriksson to think that a hit might be incoming. The responsibility here is on Scott. I'm just shocked that Scott could get anywhere near Eriksson.

The problem from a discipline standpoint is that WHEN Scott is suspended it won't hurt the Sabres one iota.

Any time missed by Eriksson hurts the Bruins.

I don't care how many goals he has. That has nothing to do with the fact that he intentionally picked up speed and hit Miller in the head.

Anyone not a Bruins fan would agree to that.

It was a love tap.

How? Both were hits that targeted the head. Miller laid on the ice and missed several games with a concussion. What's the status of Erickkson?

Point of impact with Lucic & Miller was shoulder to shoulder while Scott targeted Eriksson's head with an elbow.

Very strange to see Claude Julien come out in the media and say this. I do not recall ever hearing him call out a player on any team in the media before.

"Bruins coach Claude Julien was unhappy with the hit and was spotted yelling in the direction of the Sabres' bench.

"He's out there for two reasons, and that's either to fight or hurt," Julien said about Scott. "So he did his job tonight."

back to the game ... yikes ...

This is ridiculous, the Sabres got outshot 11-1 w/ Hodgson on ice, 10-0 w/ Vanek on ice, and 9-1 with Stafford on the ice. Man oh man.

Things seemed to be going well for the Sabres until the 3rd. Then the meltdown began. Very unfortunate for Sabre fans who are known to be a very passionate fan base.

Mr Pegula PLEASE do us Sabres fans a favor and fire the coach and GM ASAP. This is a fucking embarrassment to our city the organization and fan base. My son sent me a text at 1 am. All it said was "They should be fired tomorrow !!!!!!!!"

This is sickening.

I also hope that they release Scott as soon as his suspension is over.

That assumes of course that you can't release a suspended player. If you can, go ahead and release him now.

What a joke this team is right now. They re-sign Scott in the off-season but buy-out Gerbe?!?
