My opinion has nothing to do with where Alabama is ranked. If I was going to play that kind of game, then all I need to do is look at history to see that more teams = Alabama would have made the playoffs every year since 2008 with the exception of 2010 - and might could have done it then.

For sure. That loss can not be understated in terms of how it hurt Ohio St. A loss is one thing, a blowout loss to a team like that you just can't really expect to recover from.
