I'd like to see the Spurs pull off the upset but don't see that happening. The Warriors have too many weapons.

Yeah obviously the Ws aren't going to walk over these guys like the last 2 series, but I just can't see how the Spurs win 4 of 7. Only the coaching differential maybe Pop vs Brown.

Spurs have probably a 1 in 8 chance or so, which is not zero.

I agree w/ you. Maybe the Spurs can make the series interesting by winning a couple of games. A 5 or even 6 game series wouldn't surprise me but I don't see the Spurs pushing the Warriors to 7.

Maybe, I think the Spurs have a better chance of making it 7 than the Cavs frankly

Go Spurs Go.

I think GS will win, with the Spurs having a puncher's chance. They were playing too much ISO ball with Kawhi, but last night they seemed to regain their 2014 Finals mojo, with a very fluid offense and many extra-passes.

Warriors in 4.

going to keep picking sweep until they lose 1. I believe this series has a better chance of ending in 4 than 6.

If Kawhi isnt healthy it is possible. Getting breaks helps some

I think the series will be good one -if it's competitive, it will be the first one that is interesting - all of them have been boring and uninteresting so far. I have no preference either way, but I will say this - I don't think the win for the Warriors is a slam dunk like everyone thinks. As long as Popovich is coaching the Spurs, I would watch my back - lol

So mind you regular season stats, Spurs were 2-3 vs Warriors. The 2nd game is really moot since both teams pretty much said lest rest anyone important and piss off the NBA.

So let's say it went 1-1. Both were not too close; Spurs actually with the larger margin of victory.

First Game - Spurs-129 Warriors-100
Key Players
Durant - 27pts
Curry - 26pts
Green - 18pts
Thompson - 11pts

Leonard* - 35pts
Aldridge - 26pts
Parker* - 9 pts
Simmons - 20pts
Mills - 11pts
Ginobili - 10pts

DNP - Green

Second Game - Spurs-107 Warriors-85

Who cares game.

Third Game - Spurs-98 Warriors-110
Key Players
Curry - 29pts
Green - 4pts
Thompson - 23pts
West - 14pts
Igoudala - 15pts

Leonard* - 19pts
Aldridge - 17pts
Parker* - 0 pts
Simmons - 0pts (played 52 seconds)
Mills - 8pts
Ginobili - 6pts
Green - 16pts
Gasol - 18pts

DNP - Durant

Parker leadership wise is a hit, however he has struggled even over the last few years and Mills and Murray are not bad, and from a scoring perspective I think Mills can be more dangerous.

Wild card to me is Simmons, if he can even get 12-16pts a game, and others do their roles Spurs could challenge a lot more than people are giving credit for.

Of course you also have the health of Leonard, where that is will be a sign of how much other will have to step up and what that toll will be over the series.

With the Warriors no lead is ever safe, even up 12 in the last 2 min you can't lose sight of executing both ends of the floor until there are 0:00 up. They can also make a 2pt lead into an 11pt lead quickly.

I could see this close, I could also see; 'surprised but not surprised' blow out games both ways

I saw an interesting stat today, home teams are 0-10 for elimination games in these playoffs. So here's to Game 5 or 7.. :suds:even though I said Spurs in 6.. :noidea:

I come from the future. Skynet will soon take over.
Dude, everyone knows that Skynet is Genisys.

* If you are a fan of the series, I can't wait until that abortion of a movie gets retcon'd*

All of this is irrelevant.

The games the Spurs won were:

The first game of the season and the game where nobody played.

The game the Warriors won, KD was sitting, the Dubs were on the road in the second day of a back to back and the Spurs jumped out to a 20 point first quarter lead. Both teams have changed significantly since these games. They mean almost nothing.

Can't figure out why the league would schedule game 1 on Sunday while Wizards/Celtics game 7 is Monday.

Literally makes no sense. Wizards and Celts do not need 2 days off for the 3rd time this series. Ridiculous. This series should be playing game 7 today. Then everything else would work.

Yeah all they had to do was flip flop the schedule. Game 1 of WCF should have been on Monday no matter what. Depending on the result of G6 of the Wiz/Celtics, it should have either been G7 or G1 of the ECF being played tomorrow to avoid a situation where we're playing G1 of the Conference finals before finishing up the 2nd round.
