Houston doesn't play enough defense to compete with the Warriors.

There were 2 teams who I thought could beat GSW in a series out west. Both were eliminated before getting to play GSW

As a Warrior fan, the last team I wanted to see GSW face was the Spurs followed by Memphis

The way Memphis played for the last month or 2 of the season, I knew GSW would handle them. I think Clippers pre game 6 vs Houston would take GSW to 6 or 7

Harden and Howard have been to the Conferece Finals (and NBA Finals) before. I like the experience factor and it's heavily in Houston's favor.
