The ones that mattered.
It's not like ISU is loaded with talent 2 deep everywhere.
I think we've had this convo before. The offense returns a good chunk of the line, their leading rusher, their starting QB, and several other key pieces. The defense returns most of the front 7 as do both starting CBs.

It's not like ISU is loaded with talent 2 deep everywhere.

Butler was actually the more dangerous WR last year as defenses made sure Lazard was covered. When ISU played Texas, that was the worst situation for Iowa State. Park made sure Campbell could not coach as he was arguing with Campbell most of that game. Montgomery hardly ever got the ball. He spent most of the time blocking for Park. After that, Kempf became the QB and Montgomery was a main part of the offense.

ISU doesn't need to be 2 deep everywhere. Rhodes may have not been a great coach, but he wasn't bad at recruiting for ISU standards. Matt Campbell has shown he can be a great in-game coach. If ISU kept Park in at QB and Montgomery spent the season as a glorified FB, ISU would have barely had 6 wins. He adjusted after Texas and ISU went on to win 8 games, most since 2000.

Both have Miami ranked in the top ten, have they seen how garbage Malik Rosier is?

He sucks man. Really holds that team back.

Tell me about it, man. They will have much better talent at the skill positions on offense this season too and would be able to tear it up with a decent QB, but it will all be wasted on Rosier with Richt's 1992 offense and horrible playcalling. SMH.

I don't remember having a conversation, but maybee

and then they booted Rich Rod and no one wanted the job and was stuck taking Captain Donut.
Bold :D

Well, ISU isn't Kansas but we'll see. They'll get more attention by teams this year.
