I don't know who is going to miss the playoffs but they will take either Phoenix or Dallas spot as one of the final 2 seeds out West as long as they healthy and if they stay healthy, they will be hell for whoever they face in round 1

Since Gasol came back they allowed 95 points once and in the other games, they're giving up an avg of 84.4 PPG

1-6 are pretty much set in stone barring a major injury to any of those teams.

Spots 7-8 in the West will be fought for between these 5 teams: Suns, Grizzlies, Mavericks, Nuggets & T-Wolves.

I'm not sure how serious to take the wolves. They seem like a team who will be in the 38-42 wins category. I think in order to get the final 2 seeds out west, you would probably need between 45-47 wins

What's going on with the wolves this year is incredible.

They are a playoff team by every statistical measure but...

Friday nights game was their first win by 4 points or less. 1-11 for the year

Last nights game made for the 9th!!! Straight game they have lost when being .500.

Yet on pace to absolutely shatter the franchises record for most wins of 20 points or more.

This team could really go anyway.

No surprise that they won all of those games except the Pelicans game when they allowed 45% shooting so now they're not only slowing games down but they're playing lockdown defense again

They were learning the system under a new coach. Gasol lasol last played in November before he came back so they were not where they wanted to be back then. Teams improve. Who cares if their defense wasn't as good back in November? Most important thing is that their playing their style of ball now

Suns, Mavs and Grizzlies are the only 3 that should really be competing for those spots, imo. The Grizzlies are better on paper, imo, then the Suns and Mavs right now due to the Lee trade and Gasol being healthy but Memphis has 3 road games coming up this week and they need to cover some ground they lost earlier in the year. They also end the season against the Suns and Mavs so this might not be decided until the end.

Odds are, one of those 3 will get knocked out by an injury
