Bob Knight is so senile. The shit coming out of his mouth right now makes no sense at all.

those 2 raines misses down the stretch of course were killer, story of the game was eddie foul trouble all game, and wvu hitting 3s consistently.

I think this will count as a "bad loss" imo. West Virginia just isn't very good.

Our post players a horrid game. Raines missed an open hook shot and 2 FTs in clutch time. We allowed 20 offensive rebounds! To top it all off, the post players did not come and contest the 3 pt shooters they were facing.

It seems like all the progress we made on rebounding against Iowa and OSU was lost. I mean sometimes it looked like we weren't even trying to rebound. No hustle at all on the boards.

It does count as a bad loss because the selection committee looks hard at OOC wins on the road. Big missed opportunity.

rebounding was trash too. definitely a bad loss
It didn't look like we were hustling on the boards, at all. I mean sometimes the ball bounced into an empty spot on the floor. Little to no boxing out even when playing man defense.

I'm not even talking missed opportunities. WVU is not a good team and will fall below 100+ in the RPI.

Every time Rankin is in the game, I cringe. Guy can't do anything offensively

That one was heartbreaking imo, we played pretty crappy throughout but I thought when Brown hit the lucky 3 we had enough to win it. Rebounding was prob the biggest issue but we had some terrible stretches of offense as well.

Rankin probably needs to take the same road that Tyrone Garland took. Why the hell does JJ not get Raines more involved especially early in the game. He can be effective in the post. At least feed him and let him dish it back out. We get lost playing perimeter ball and dribble drive at times.

we seem to do better with bigger pg's historically (dowdell, delaney, green) that can be more combo guards than straight point guards. guys like thorns, garland, and rankin have really struggled being undersized and unable to be decent scorers here.
