Yea, I mean you gotta think a team like Arizona would be more heavily favored than Kentucky wouldn't you? IDK if Pot was also legalized in Nevada.

We were 14/1 at the beginning of the season and I badly wanted to go to Vegas just to put down a couple hundred bucks. Would have been worth it. Lmao at Kentucky having better odds than us, and lmao even more at okie st being so close at 10/1.

Maybe you could explain why you are
Lmao at Kentucky having better odds than us,

And after you quit laughing; I'd be interested in what you know that makes your views on the odds better than the Vegas oddsmakers

Yes, right now, Arizona would be favored over Kentucky in a vacuum. But the odds aren't instantaneous. They are cumulative. Since there was already money wagered even before the season started, the odds will be biased in favor of the preseason favorites.

It's kinda like the polls, which generally favor preseason teams, and carry over expectations from week to week. Most people think of them as "up to the minute" but confirmation bias guarantees, they aren't.

With Vegas Odds, it isn't confirmation bias, keeping the preseason teams ranked highly, it's previously wagered money.

So while it seems silly at first, it kinda makes sense if you look at it in the big picture. The good news for the gambling community is that means there are some good values out there if you look.
