This is our 3rd head coach in what four years? And especially given the team he inherited with how bad this offense was I don’t really see the criticism for Vance Joseph. Yes we’re not the Browns and we don’t have a history of sucking but it’s gonna take more than one year for even a miracle worker to turn this team around. Of course he’s not completely blameless there are a lot of things he could probably do better or coach better and certainly the special-teams is worse, that’s our biggest issue, but the defense is still top 5 like it was with Wade and the offense is still bottom 10 like it was with Dennison. You can’t just flip a switch and have all your problems turn into strengths. I’m not sure what people expected but this year is kind of realistic.

Do I think its fair to fire VJ after 1 year NO
Do you like the idea of switching HC already Heck NO
Do I think VJ is over his head YES right now but, I think he'll be a good HC someday
Do I think VJ will be fired this season YES another ugly loss today I think it would happen monday imo.

I love Elway but, this is 100% on him. He had tunnel vision because the guy interviewed well before. I appreciate our high standards we set with Org. A OL that needs work and no idea who QBOTF is that's tough for 98% rookie HC's and not easy for vet HC's either. VJ hire should have been for a total rebuild not a SB run expectations type thing if that was your plan. One thing for sure JE must hit HR with next hire or we might have to clean house top to bottom.

He needs an O HC hire but, who do we choose that is any good with HC exp? Can you gamble trying another 1st time HC doubt it.

The problem stems with Elway, not VJ.

Vance is working with coaches that look to be Elways picks, not his.
Elway said we should see vast improvement with our oline.
Elway has made poor choices in the draft with high round, high profile positions.
Elway refused to put a damper on the Superbowl or bust mantra, instead of being more realistic. Now everything is collapsing around him, and we want to throw out the baby with the bath water.
Elway needs to better develop his in house leaders, set the tone behind closed doors, and let Vance do the damn thing.
McCoy and Olivo are on borrowed time, but their replacements should be picked by Vance.

He doesn't seem like a coach that should have a head gig. I noticed a fire Vance Joseph thread on another Broncos forum fairly early in the season and I didn't think much of it. But as the losses pile up, I certainly understand the sentiment.

We are in Rebuild and IMO in a some what good place if we can get Lynch out on the field and see were he is and that starts to shine our last few games .

Maybe but, demands are so high here vs SF. In SF he can grow into his position not under sb or bust day 1.
