Didn't watch the game because I'm not much of a fan of the sport, but I did see the highlights. I think soccer should become a Winter sport. That was one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

The Costa Ricans can eat shit. Soccer is a BEAUTIFUL GAME in a snowstorm.

I thought that was awesome too. You couldn't really see shit in the 2nd half but people bitch about anything when they lose. LOL 2 Costa Rica

the commentator was great, every time the brit talked about them ending the game, he was just like "you shut up. let them play!" lol....the snow definitely made it a challenge to see what exactly was going on...Altidore had some good opportunities, wish he coulda put one in the back of the net.

a few really bad no calls from the refs, but with that blizzard, they probably couldnt see more than a few feet in front of their faces, but IMO, he did the right thing when they were about to call the game, and he talked to the players from each side to get their take

Anyone think anything might happen with the Costa Rican claim that the game was unfairly played and should be replayed?

IMO, FIFA needs Americans to come to the WC and no chance the game will be replayed.

i think it would be bullshit if they grant a rematch. the ref spoke with both teams, evidently the teams wanted to continue...they just thought they would come back and win, and since they didnt now they want to complain? fuck them

also, its not like the blizzard gave US an advantage, they both had to play in it
