urbom paired w/ tallinder...

lou talked all summer about wanted tallinder specifically to mentor urbom..



johnny mac isn't letting onto them being paired together all that much, but we all know you're not making the team if you're not with nhl guys on your line/d pair.... and if you have nhl guys on your line or d paid you very well may be making the big squad....

anyone else see signifigance in this?

He's definitely downplaying the expectations. There's really no point in putting the extra pressure on Urbom or JJ at this time.

but lets be real from everything we've seen over the years as fans, you look at who they are putting them with and i go ... well, they may be their jobs to lose.

I totally agree that those spots are theirs to lose. You can glean a lot of information based on which players are in the three different practice groups.
