Yeah, wouldn't want a repeat of last year with being ranked #1 for much of the season and being one of the best teams in the country and then losing in the Elite 8 where anything can (and often does) happen.

Speaking of rising and falling...that kind of describes ASU football last year. There was a time people were talking Rose Bowl, "elite" team, etc. As soon as that started, ASU promptly reminded everyone who they were three weeks in a row.

Let's set aside the fact that CBB has 3 times as many schools competing. Let's just focus on the fact that if we are going to break it down to being one of the top 8 teams (Elite Eight for CBB and BCS Bowl for football) notice that AZ has 10 in less than 40 years. ASU has 2 in football. I'd say that Eh' S U is more like it.
