Now that June is almost over the trade rumors have started amongst some fans and some local media types. 95% of those rumors fall into two categories. The first category are those fans who think we can get back way more than what we trade away. The second category are those who are afraid to be classified in the first category so much that they significantly undervalue what we are giving up. Almost all of the media falls into that second category, along with some fans who think they look better if they undervalue our guys.

I just read one proposal where they want to trade all three of our top trade chips for a bunch of players who are very underwhelming in the Blue Jays system.

As long as they are not starting, it wouldn't bother me of 2 of them remain instead of 1.

I just think, like Todd Frazier and Asdrubal Cabrera faded off into the sunset, that these veterans probably will too, at least a couple of them.

The idea suggested with the Jay's is so absurd it's not understandable.

You mean about Lowe? I think he will be Odored for awhile even if he doesn't play better. It would make the trade look awfully silly if they gave up on him now or anytime this year.

Personally, I didn't like the trade when it happened.

Odor Ed may be a bit extreme but a little early to jettison him. Not bad to share time at 1B though

Most likely, back from where he was in mid-May when his OPS was 100 points lower. In the last 6 weeks his OPS is over .900. During the first 6 weeks it was barely over .700.
