Do you guys like either of these trades for the 1.01 or 1.03 picks in a start up 14 TM keep 15 league? I'm pretty comfortable with both. Option A I get my guy while option B you have to hope he doesn't go 2nd overall. For now players are a secret with upcoming dynasty drafting with many of you ;). We will be starting QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, 2 Flex.

Trade - 1.05 and 5.5(61st)

Get - 1.01 and 6.14(81st)

Trade - 1.05 and 7.5(85th)

Get - 1.03 and 10.12(138th)

If I were to do one it would be the first option. .... if you have someone targeted why take the chance he falls ?

I guess it depends on who you want and how much more you want him more than another top five option. There's no right or wrong answer.

Oh agree - not as critical to have a first pick in a start-up league - - but if you really have a target, the first option is the best deal without giving up much in return. ... otherwise, I'd just stay put.

I would definitely NOT do the second trade... 7th round you are still drafting a starter... Especially with 6 WR/RBs starting... It is silly to trade starting value for bench value for ONLY 2 spots in a draft...

I could live with trade one, but I would prefer to not make either move... Just don't make the second trade, that is kind of a terrible trade...

Missed out on the 1.03 pick. It got traded to the guy with the 1.06.

He Gave - 1.06, 2.9(23rd) 3.6(34th)

He Got - 1.03, 2.12(26th) 4.12(54th)

Still working on moving up for 1.01. But was trying to do less than he was asking. Now that someone has paid way more than we are talking about. I think i'll either have to go back to his deal or do nothing.

That dude over paid, and now you'd have to also. This is a new startup dynasty yes? No one would be worth a big price from the 5th to the first in my book. Still amazing talent to be had at 5

Start up keep 15 league so a little less than my normal. Missed out on the 1.01 pick as well it went for this.

Got - 1.14, 6.1(71st) 8.1(99th)

Gave - 1.1, 12.14(168th)

I was like why wouldn't you just do our 1.05 deal? His response was if he was giving up OBJ or Brown he wanted to get a WR like Alshon or Allen and a chance to get Charles and Prosise. I pointed out that no one would accept a trade of those 3 for OBJ or Brown. His response was we will see. Now the guy who gave up his 6th and 8th is trying to get 5th, 6th and 8th round picks for his 2017 and 2018 1st round picks.

This ^^^^^^. IMO the bigger differences in players come in the 2-7 rds anyway. That is where you can find the hidden gems. ..... trading a 1.06 for 1.03 but losing 3 to 5 spots in the 2nd and 3rd is not wise.

Yeah not sure why he would be telling me his plans. Could be bluffing or just that stupid.
