If the Sox average 19,000 a game for this series, they will crest 2 million in attendance - Cleveland's attendance this year totals 1.2 million. The Sox draw fans like someone is spending money on their success.

Oh well.

I think this season will at least take away any expectations for next year, which I prefer. I think it’s fair at this point to say this has been a failed rebuild and Rick Hahn, GM since 2013, has likewise been a failure. Is he a neutered GM because of the horrible owner? Yes. Has he been a bad GM regardless of ownership? Yes.

I think the team should be searching for a new GM in addition to a new manager. Ideally, the team is listed for sale too.

Yeah - I don't get it - Abreu should have had a moment in this game for the fans to appreciate his career. Konerko had three season ending games in a row with standing O's and then came back for another year.
