I think for dinnner tonight Im going to make a turkey breast roast.......

SO should I buy one of the pre-marinated ones?
they are typically 1-2 lbs....

Or should i buy a 3-5 lb bigger one and do my own thing......

If i do my own thing.......how should I prepare it.......

Sides? I am thinking garlic mash taters......but dunno what else

Might be tough to find real cranberries right now? Suppose you could make it with fake.

Offhand, I think we used one bag of cranberries
T of finely chopped ginger
orange rind
juice from one orange
1/4 cup brown sugar
cinnamon stick

add water if need to cover the berries...cook till they burst and it is thick. at they very end we added a splash of Grande Marnier. remove the stick and rind

Cook most yer bird...want it browned a bit before ya start glazing...last 20 minutes er so

You could toss it in a brine for a couple hours first?

It might already come in a nominal percent sodium brine tho

oh that's a big bastard!?

They have one that's like a pound...pound and a half.

So you'd do the glaze, like the last hour, for one that big

I love doing these. I just rub with salt and or maybe some herbs spices sometimes and throw them in my "oil - less turkey fryer" it's right behind a rice cooker as my favorite kitchen gadget. Well not really a kitchen gadget since it's 100% an outdoor thing, more like a grill alternative.

But if I use any sugar or sugary stuff, or most of the green herbs like rosemary or something they all burn really quickly. But anything that doesn't burn makes the most perfect crust.

How does oil less work

It's infra red not really a fryer. But they marketed them as oil less fryers because it really does cook it almost like fried food. Nice crunchy crust on the outside, still really really moist inside.
