Did you guys hear the latest conspiracy theory?

Heard this from a radio guest on ESPN in Chicago....

George Toma aka "the Sodfather."
He did the sod for the Super Bowl. But he also does the sod for the KC Chiefs.

Eagles slipped on 38% of the plays. KC just 18%. Eagles changed their cleats multiple times. KC = none.

Never know...but honestly after like the 3rd or 4th slip, maybe change the cleats before you get to that 38% number.
But even if it was a little insider trading, it could've been easily eliminated as an issue with just a little thought-
Part of any organized athletic event is to test our the feild of play, especially at the pro level. In baseball, the OF's test the grass, run the foul lines, get the warning track feel, count the steps before they hit the wall...golf, test those greens, track stars run countless times through the long jump pit to get everything perfect before it counts, hell in bowling, most beer swelling league players know to check the lane, does it have the oil it needs...I would think as a football player, if during warm-ups, your footing is in any way unsure, you'd be making any possible adjustments. If ya don't, well, sucks to be you.

I don't know, but that field sucked. George should be killed by a crazy Eagles fan.

Interesting.

I definitely saw a lot of players slipping. Without paying attention that closely, it seemed to me that KC was slipping as much if not more, at least early in the game.

Guess not.

In any event, the league really should avoid potential appearance of impropriety in those situations. Not hard to find a neutral turf person.

Such a horrible and reckless thing to say
Kind of like his work on the field. But he got paid for his horrible and reckless behavior.

It doesn’t matter how bad his work is.

Saying he should be killed is really far beyond the line.

Possibly criminal too if someone were to read your post and act on it.

And let's not forget the Chiefs ' season STARTED on that field against the Cardinals. They kinda already knew what they were in for...
