Nothing like a Pinch Hit double from a pitcher to take the lead in the 13th.:omg:

Wood's a career .190/.208/.346 (47 OPS+) hitter. For a pitcher, he has a lot of pop.

Not as much pop as the other pitcher named Woods the Cubs had.

Still sucked to watch the Marlins for 13 ininngs and see them lose like that.

Kerry Wood hit 7 home runs, but he was only a career .171/.196/.249 hitter. So Travis actually has better power numbers. Travis has 8 home runs in almost half as many PAs.

It's weird... I remembered Kerry being a better hitter than the stats suggest, though he still had a decent bat for a pitcher

Kerry only had 7 homers.:omg: I guess I watched all 7. It seemed to me that him and Prior hit a few each year.

Prior only hit one home run, but he did hit 10 doubles. Prior was a career .201/.231/.265 hitter (29 OPS+). Not too shabby.

Just a shame Prior was absolutely plagued by injuries (most of which stemmed from his mechanics)... definitely had the talent.

Thats it, I am going to go steal some of my son's pot. I obviously don't have any memory left anyways.
