Saw this week that the Dodgers released Ted Lilly. Wasn't so long ago that he was supposed to be a key component in that staff. I reckon not.
Also, and this one is worrisome ... the Padres picked up Ronny Cedeno.
For those who follow the Cedeno saga, he has a lifetime average of .856 against the Reds and has never hit a baseball farther than 149 feet. I'd send Chappy in to deliver a message to this guy.
Also, the guy who kept beating the Reds for the Cubs -- Julio Borbon -- is in the minors. (Whew.)
