Trade Going Into Week 4

12 man PPR league. Is QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, Flex (rb or wr) Flex (rb or wr) te, def/kr combo.

I am rb heavy with D. Cook, A. Kamara, T. Gurley. P. Lindsey. M. Brown (handcuff) Mattison (handcuff) M. Breida.

My wr's are only Josh Gordon and Marvin Jones. LOL.

The offer is this...
I give up Todd Gurley and M. Brown. and Gordon and Marvin for
Devante Adams and Calvin Ridley.

On paper before week 1 kickoff I would drool for Adams and Ridley over my current Gordon and Marvin...

This owner is super thin at RB has Hyde and Jacobs. Thus why he wants Todd...

Gurley, and J. Gordon, and Starving Marvin, and M. Brown..for Dev. Adams and Cal. Ridley? Your 4 for his 2?

I think you've got some room for countering in there, this deal still leaves you short at WR, don't blow your advantage too quickly. Maybe the same deal minus Marvin on your side, or counter with a third WR from the other team added in.
Ridley has been pretty close to useless, I think youre giving up more than you need to

@TREFF I know the 4 for 2 seems high. Ridley as been solid only 1 bad week in a PPR league. Gordon and Marvin and boom or bust players. I tend to hoard RBs like gold so whenever I see a trade with me not getting any RB back I get nervous. Its only going into week 4 and depth on teams at RB is already their weakness and they know it. Thanks for the input.

UPDATE: After working this trade line an NBA all niter on the wire... it's done this morning...

So my thought. I got to keep my handcuff (M. Brown) for Gurley. I took in the better WRs and he got the RB he needed as he only had Carlos Hyde and Jacobs (raiders) as starters.

I also got a RB in return which I love to do. Yes he has a hammy issue but still next best rb on our waivers is Jamaal Williams.

Now I can start this roster

Uhh fuck yes!! Easy call to do this. Who in the fuck offers that? lol

Gurley is a shell of himself.
Brown doesn't have the value for the fact he isn't the starter.
Gordon isn't playing.
Marvin is a solid option but wouldn't consider him a #1 or #2 solid option.

Davante hasn't been great so far but a top 5 WR. Ridley is a nice solid option off your bench or flex play.

You still have Cook, Kamara and Lindsay.

We allow 8 total team rbs and I'm at 9 so I need to trade or drop one...
so this trade would save that aspect.

I still might do this. Sure, he had a great game last week... Freeman just missed taking Lindsay's TD the play before... I guess that can be looked at positively from both sides. Lindsay isn't going anywhere, but I really think Freeman is going to be the heavy end of that platoon soon enough.

Diggs isn't this bad, and the Vikings aren't going to have every game script go as they want.

Freeman got banged up last week, which led to some extra usage for Lindsay.
Unfortunately Broncos don't look to be playing with many leads this year as long as Flacco is their QB, so that might script more towards Lindsay than Freeman

@TKOSpikes you saw 8 because the 9th was Penny who I picked up in that trade. So I had only 8 listed on the first post because I didn't have Penny at that time. With Penny I had 9. I ended up taking the Diggs trade and moved Phillips. Either Diggs was a great buy low wr or he gets traded away from Vikes but doubt it. Or DUB got suckered.... rare but it happens to the best. LOL.
