I'm all aboard the idea of a Trade down that nets us another pick in round 2 or 3.

Give me an extra #2 and I'll take Jalen Collins CB LSU and get us either an ILB or WR.

If you want a burner with lightning speed at WR, then I suggest Devin Smith. However, he probably goes somewhere in the 1st round my guess. I do like Collins at CB.

I'm ready to try another guy with size. Maclin has been a great deep threat. His numbers were better than DJax. Give me another WR with size to go with Matthews.

For me Deano it all depends what we do in Free agency....A trade back would be fine to address as you said an ILB or WR in rd 2. I like Collins not as much as I like Marcus Peters but I 100% get it if we pass on Peters because of his character concerns. Trae Waynes will be long gone by the time we pick at #20 so unless are looking to move up, we have no shot at him. Gotta be honest if we have any shot at Shaq Thompson he is the guy i'd set my sites on at #20.

I actually think 20 looks like an OK spot. I think maybe you can trade down a few spots for Collins, but I suspect he does not make it out of the first round once this combine stuff is all said and done. The guy is a big corner with some skill.

There may also be some good receivers there, which may be a need for us depending on what happens with Maclin.

If MM is well out of reach then I'm all for a trade back. As much as I love Devin Smith and his potential at the next level, I'm not sure I take a WR in round 1. A trade back scenario where we land Perryman or Kendricks would make me happy.

Id be happy taking a chance on Peters if he was cleared through interviews. If right, the kid could be a good cover ball hawker.

I just don't see much drop off from 20 to 30-40. For an extra pick...?

And I think Kendricks will drop to the top of round two. His size and straight line speed will be questioned. Irrelevant to me. Kid can play.

I said it awhile ago that 20 this year is similar to 22 last year, the 5 or 6 guys the Eagles will want will go in the 6-7 picks before them possibly 8 picks. Trading back might make sense but to me the strength at 20 might very well be a offensive lineman which we can use.

Get a veteran OL in FA.
