Jared Odrick, DE/DT, Dolphins. Age: 27.

Jared Odrick had a terrific 2014 campaign, as he got to the quarterback frequently and also was sound against the run until a late-season injury limited him a bit. Odrick, who won't be 28 until December, can fit into any scheme, which will help him on the open market.

Here is why. Bowen is old and has bad knees plus costs big money. Hatcher is 31. Jenkins is a FA and Gholsten is just a backup. Baker is solid but he splits at NT and DE. There is Goldman in the draft but is he too high at pick #5 overall? I think its a must that we sign Odrick. He should be our #1 FA target.

I really thought DL was going to be pretty good last year. Hatcher, Cofield and Baker worked for me. But all 3 disappointed, I really thought Baker would take a giant step forward but he regressed. They are now old and unproductive so I love the idea of a good young DL added to the mix. However I fully expect GMSM to pick a few guys we have never heard of, off the radar guys that only real football people know to be very good. At least that's my hope.

I think he would fill a huge need. We have money in FA this year. It wont be like last year with average FA expect for Jackson. I see two or three splash FA this year.

That's enough to land Odrick and Bulaga or Iupati. Plus if they give Trent and Kerrigan long term deals wouldn't that gives us more money now?

Just for the record, Iupati is a possibility due to wanting a chance of scenery but I couldn't imagine
a premiere guard and rising star tackle coming to a borderline success graveyard.
