Fair enoughGuess we'll have to disagree, as there weren't many games with a more unpredictable finish, coupled with that late of a game winning TD.

The Stanford/San Diego State game was good shit. I watched it from start to finish and it deserves to be on this list.
Fair enough
Those 3 elements all have to do with just the end of the game. For the overwhelming majority of this game, it was just ugly, bad football. If Love was healthy and Oregon State was even middle of the pack in the conference, I could agree. However, given Love's absence and Oregon State being an overall bottom-dweller in the FBS, I just don't see it.I would be interested in to see where this would fall when you take everything into account on your list. I came up with 58 games before ranking the top 50. It had 3 of the 4 elements you would want in ranking a game. It was close, it was unpredictable at the end and had a good finish. Taking that at face value, there aren't many that had that.

Put it this way - I love watching college football. The top 50 games should be games that you really want to watch. I'd almost just as soon watch college bowling as I would this game. I can honestly say I'd rather watch every other Stanford game in 2017.
And I really enjoyed that game because it was very evident when watching it that you were watching two very talented teams. The Stanford/Oregon State game just looked like sloppy play from guys who weren't well-coached --- which, I believe it absolutely was. Both defenses were garbage last year, but both offenses struggled immensely to do anything. I just thought it was really boring and ugly, but since Love was out, it was close and had a close ending. There are WNBA games that are close and have drama at the end, doesn't mean I want to watch them though.I watched their game against Rice, that obviously wasn't a good game. But even the game against ND, two top 15 teams at the time, turned into a shitty game. At least this game provided drama.
And you have an interesting way of ranking games, which is fine, to each their own. But I was very much looking forward to a game like Bama vs. Auburn and it wasn't really all that great, no suspense/drama or nothing. The same can be said for alot of other games. But like I said, if that's how you rank them, that's fine.

I have rescinded my bullshit.I understand where you're coming from. And I get your perspective. I think an exciting/unpredictable finish can trump a poorly played game. I think there is something to be said when there is drama, even in a poorly played game, such as that.
Their offensive gameplan was absolute crap. Harris and Scarborough tore Auburn up but somehow only had 12 combined carries.I came away very, very disappointed from the Iron Bowl despite the magnitude of that game. Bama played horrible and was completely controlled throughout.

This game was amazing. I'd date to say it's underrated on your list.#37

Is your list already entirely planned out?It was an amazing game. I did drop it down a notch because it was a bowl game though. That's also why I have the Alamo Bowl a little lower too.
