Yeah, I tried but can't...can you tell me what you talking about without reading your rant? I'd like to know your opinion on whatever you speak of.

If a program has gone 67 games without being blown out, it's obtuse to think their best team was guaranteed to be blown out.

Also, Russell Wilson = Good.

67 games?

You got beat 31-13 by Ohio State in 2009. 48-7 by Penn State and 43-12 by Florida State in 2008. 38-7 by Penn State and 38-17 by Ohio State in 2007. All games within your magic 67 game window dating back to even your 2011 final game of the season.

Now, if you want to extend that to current day, sure, but that wasn't true in 2011.

And if your best team of all-time loses 3 games in a single season, I'm not sure I'd be calling for their greatness. Great teams don't put themselves in position to lose that many games, much less lose 3 of them in a single season.

Wisky homer, wouldn't worry too much about it. Like I said, a state and a half cares. I can bet what state he has ties to.

Anyways, like I said...someone reply to this please. How do we get a vote going on here? Let everyone rank their top ten of 20 options?

Of course I am extending it to the current day. Why would the context suggest the 2011 teams' results are more tied to the 2007 team's results than the 2012 team's results? The point is that we have had solid teams for several years running. We have taken on teams that finished #2, #4, #5, #5, #5, #6, and #6. Only one of the beat us by more than ten (2009 OSU), and it was in game where we outgained them 2 to 1. We are currently in the middle of a 59 game streak where we haven't lost by more than ten points.

Yet somehow, it's guaranteed that LSU would have beaten our best team by 30? Uh, what? How does that make any sense?

I love it. That was the College Gameday site. It was called by Herbie and Musburger. Wisconsin was undefeated and ranked #5. We had the Heisman Trophy favorite at the time. Our closest win was by 31 points over a team which was ranked in the top 10 at the time. It was going head to head with the #1 ranked team in America losing, and it crushed it in the ratings.

And since TV Ratings are everything, I guess that means Wisconsin-TCU goes ahead of the Bush Push. After all, it registered an 11.3 rating. Notre Dame-USC managed a 7.8.

Ok man, you keep making your point. Find me someone without ties from Wisconsin or that side of Michigan who share the same opinion. Regardless, was a good game...and definately worthy of a nomination...9ish maybe. Gotta see whats on the table.

That's sort of the point, dude. Wisconsin-MSU went head to head against Alabama-Florida and #1 Oklahoma losing, and it was still the top rated game in its slot. The Bush Game went up against what exactly?

This is exactly why TV ratings as a basis for interest in games is stupid. It says more about the television schedule and targeting towards casual fans than actual interest among football fans.

What is the average ranking for a Rose Bowl game?

Normally between a 10 and a 14. If you don't count national title games, 2004 Michigan-USC had the best with 14.4. Ron Dayne's last game was second, with a 14.1.

Am pretty sure he'll be playing QB in this game barring injury.

That's pretty cool. I've been to the stadium about 15 times and never gets old. Got something back for you...I have family in Thomasville, GA...bout a half hour from FSU. I may be making my first appearance in whatever FSU calls their stadium...the swamp right? No that is that other FL team. I have no idea, let me guess...Bobby Bowden Stadium?

The joke about Golson is him still being in school and no becoming academically ineligible. AGAIN!

The stadium is called Doak Campbell Stadium. Or The Doak for short. The field is called Bobby Bowden Field. If you go you will have to visit the Sod Cemetery for sure. I believe there is some ND sod there.

It's a good list, as are others...too many to choose from is correct. But that is a good thing, assuming your team wasn't on the wrong end, right?

I heard Dantonio was pretty excited himself afterwards.

That's just mean. Guy had a heart attack. I nearly did too because it was just about midnight and calls for a fake field after getting hit with a delay of game penalty.

It most definitely was a quality game but I think the first MSU Wisconsin game was better. The B1G Championship game was pretty good too, all the way up to that darn flopping kicker!!!!

This was definitely the best regular season game of the BCS era. I can't think of anything that was even close. So many momentum changes and great plays. I still wonder late at night how we didn't recover the fumble on that last drive, and how the refs missed the obvious false start on the 3rd down conversion right before the Hail Mary. Such is the life of the tortured sports fan.

TX @ TTU 2008 was mighty fine.

I thought that was a pretty bad game, where Texas played the worst game of the season [worst called game too] and Nebraska really didn't do much to help out their front D.
