Lets see who would win the pointless award if the SportsHoopla were the ones voting :suds:

I think Winston should and will win it, but I can't just skip over AJ.

What are the odds that the committee doesn't pick Winston 'just in case'? It has to be really low because of all of the other candidates. If there were just 3 or 4, it could happen

huh?

the heisman ballots are all submitted. then based off of how the votes went, they send out the finalist invites.

it's not like you have to vote for one of the finalists. i'm pretty sure the due date for ballots is before the list of finalists goes out.

 You can tell I pay attention to the Heisman. This probably just means that the battle for 2nd place was close

Manziel gets my vote, because A&M would be really bad without him in my opinion. Winston doesn't deserve it or McCarron. They are just two great players surrounded by a great team. Both FSU and Bama wouldn't miss that big of a step without them. Especially bama, anybody could play QB behind that monster oline.

The only player that wows me on that list is Manziel. He does things that I just say, that lucky motherfu...

His luck ran out against Missouri and LSU but you can't blame him. His defense was just awful.

I have not watched FSU play this year. EJ Manuel had the same team last year pretty much. 4 Oline, 2 WR and the TE returned on that team so Winston has been blessed with a veteran group.

Lynch is a solid player. He has been consistent in back to back season putting up monster numbers and leading his team. Last year to the BCS and this year ooh so close.

AJ McCarron is a well groomed manager, with a nice arm. Nothing exciting about the kid. He just wins, has a nice smile and a pretty girlfriend.

Williams is a hard runner, should run away with the Doak.

Mason has the flav of the week fever. 300 yards in the SEC championship game, ooh wow. Against Mizzou. Ok..

I voted Manziel, fuck it.

If these are my only 6 choices:

1) Winston

2) Mason
3) Williams
4) Lynch
5) Manziel
6) McCarron

You could swap 5 & 6 I guess, but I think McCarron benefited more from talent around him than Manziel.

But I thought that was one of the requirements for winning the statue?

Only players from the worst teams in college football should be eligible according to some.
